1. Who we are
Product Reviews Advisor operates from British Columbia, Canada. This policy explains our handling of personal information under applicable Canadian privacy requirements, including British Columbia's private-sector privacy law and PIPEDA where applicable.
2. Information we may collect
Depending on how you use the site, we may collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, mobile number, product-interest requests, SMS consent, messages sent to the Product Advisor, and administrative account information. We may also process technical information such as IP address, browser/user-agent information, timestamps, requested pages, referral/source data, and temporary session identifiers.
3. Product URLs and review requests
When you submit a public product-page URL, we retrieve and analyze publicly accessible information from that page to produce the requested review. We may record the submitted URL, product identity, review outcome, and aggregate demand or purchase-intent signals to improve our product research and affiliate-opportunity workflow.
4. How we use information
We use information to provide requested site functions; maintain security and prevent abuse; continue advisor conversations; track affiliate referrals and campaign performance; respond to support or privacy requests; administer SMS or email communications you explicitly request; improve product research; and meet legal obligations.
5. Affiliate networks and seller websites
If you choose an affiliate or seller link, you leave Product Reviews Advisor and the destination website may collect information under its own privacy policy. Affiliate networks may receive referral identifiers needed to attribute commissions. We do not control the destination site's cookies, payment processing, account creation, or privacy practices.
6. SMS and marketing communications
SMS or promotional messages are sent only when you provide the applicable consent. Consent for marketing is not required to use the core product-review feature. You may withdraw SMS consent by replying STOP where supported, or by contacting us. Message and data rates may apply.
7. Cookies and browser storage
We use essential browser storage for security, session continuity and remembering privacy choices. Optional analytics or marketing storage must remain disabled until you choose to allow it. See our Cookie Policy and use to change your choice.
8. Service providers
We may use service providers for hosting, email delivery, SMS delivery, voice generation, affiliate tracking and related infrastructure. They receive only information reasonably required to provide those services and may process data in other jurisdictions.
9. Retention and security
We retain personal information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, legal/accounting requirements, dispute resolution and security. We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.
10. Access, correction and withdrawal of consent
Subject to applicable law, you may ask whether we hold personal information about you, request access or correction, and withdraw consent for optional uses. Some information may need to be retained where permitted or required by law.
11. Children and minors
This website is intended for a general audience and is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children for marketing. If you believe a minor has provided personal information inappropriately, contact us so we can review the request.
